Price list

I offer a variety of billing options, depending on your needs and what is most suitable in the circumstances, including:

Hourly Billing

• Typically used for project based/non-recurring engagements (see details at bottom).

Fixed Fee

• Typically used for corporate year-end engagements, wherein we prepare financial statements and corporate tax returns, and have a good sense of the amount of work involved.
• We can discuss ahead of time and agree to a fee, so there are no surprises when the work is complete.

Full Service Packages (Best Value)

• Typically used for clients for whom we provide ongoing, monthly or quarterly services.
• These arrangements offer the best value, as this allows us to spread the work out evenly over the year, including our slower months, so we’re willing to accept a lower overall fee than might otherwise be applicable.
• Allows you to spread cost evenly over the year, to better manage your cash flow.
• Also allows for more timely financial information, and more regular feedback and interaction, and also can result in any issues being identified before it’s too late!
• Starting from $300/ month.

Hourly Fee Structure

At larger firms, typically each individual has a set hourly billing rate, and that rate usually applies regardless of the type of work actually being performed.

Because my practice is small and I wear different hats, my rates are set to reflect this reality. And because I keep my overheads low, I can offer rates that compare favourably to other firms offering the same service:

• Full Service – starting from $300/ month
• Hourly Bookkeeping/ project work – $65/ hour
• Top Rate hourly/project work – $130/ hour

I won’t generalize as to what other firms charge on an hourly basis, as these vary widely depending on size of firm and geographic location, but if you do some fee shopping you will find that our rates are indeed very competitive.
